Where Did Everything Come From?

Dear Friend,

I am not opposed to science. In fact 'science' means knowledge. I would expect all of us to gain knowledge. God gave us the five senses to test things. He gave us a mind to reason. Isaac Newton reasoned that there were certain Laws of Motion. Let's take his 1st Law:

Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.
Now this proves to be a problem when discussing the Big Bang Theory. For many the universe came about because something acted upon something (a single point of hydrogen?) to create what we now know as the universe. What was that Something. Or is the better question, "Who?"

That who is God! See Genesis 1. With a telescope and other instruments we see the universe expanding. Of course because God is stretching the universe as we speak!

Do you not know? Do you not hear?
    Has it not been told you from the beginning?
    Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
It is he who sits above the circle of the earth,
    and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers;
who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
    and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;
who brings princes to nothing,
    and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness. (Isaiah 40:21-23)
